@jason Ah, the employer of the company messaged me for my number, then he called me to talk about it. He sounded upset, and after our conversation, I started saying 'oh, also it's technically illegal -' and he filled in with 'yes, POPIA' (which is our local data protection thing), so he was familiar with that and stuff, which was a good sign. Haven't heard since, but he said he was going to have a talk with her.
